BRAND IDENTITY LOGO DESIGN PACKAGING

Bantu Vegan’s brand design draws from the warm, earthy tones and vibrant spice-inspired palette that echo its Tanzanian roots and ethical plant-based mission Bantu Vegan+1.

For the redesign, I preserved those signature mustard, teal, and terracotta hues, alongside the handcrafted, locally inspired typography and organic patterns. The logo’s friendly curve and natural textures remained central—anchoring the redesign with both cultural resonance and visual familiarity. The goal was to retain the brand’s soulful warmth and transparent ethos, while refreshing the aesthetic to feel more contemporary and memorable.

Building upon the original visual foundation, I introduced refined brand elements to enhance cohesion and application across digital and print platforms. The logo mark was subtly reworked to be more adaptable—implementing a streamlined glyph with simplified curves for better legibility on packaging, social media, and signage. To complement it, a supporting illustration system was developed: hand-drawn spice motifs, Tanzanian folk patterns, and botanical sketches that reinforce both the cultural narrative and product freshness. These elements were organized into a flexible visual toolkit—allowing scalable use from website headers to farmers' market pop-ups (like those in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar) Bantu Vegan+1.

On the marketing front, the updated identity was integrated into a storytelling-driven digital strategy focused on transparency and community connection. Key touchpoints included clean Instagram grids, pattern-wrapped product imagery, and shareable mini-infographics that highlight sourcing transparency and ethical production. The overarching aim: unite visual consistency with mission‑driven storytelling, making every interaction feel intentional, vibrant, and deeply rooted in cultural integrity
